Water for Gaza: Fundraiser hosted by BICC

The Black Indie Comix Club is donating art and raising funds to donate to Ele Elna Elak’s (“What’s Ours is Yours”) campaign to bring clean drinking water to Gaza. 

The genocide in Gaza has left Gazan Palestinians cut off from resources and with limited access to necessities like clean drinking water, a basic human right. Ele Elna Elak is a Palestinian led volunteer team in Gaza. Ele Elna Elak is doing everything they can to bring clean drinking water to the displacement camps on the Gaza strip. The artists at BICC have donated artwork to help raise funds for this effort. By supporting this project, you’ll be helping bring clean water to Gaza and receive digital copies of original artwork in return.

“Free Palestine” by HawwaBe, 11”x17” poster/print, “I wanted this poster to reflect the raw and brutal truth of the imagery we see from journalists and Palestinians in Gaza. As for the text, I wanted it to be plain and straight forward so that the message can be seen clearly when it's posted around the city. I'm inspired by the graffiti artists across the city that put the message in people's face. You can tweak and censor your algorithm, but you can't drive down the street without seeing the words "Free Palestine." IG: @hawwabe
